Final Presentation
My final presentation did not go as well as I expected it to. Although I had everything as prepared as I could, there were some technical difficulties that were out of my control. Even though it was not my fault it still distracted me where I was not able to focus truly on what I had wanted to.
User Scenario
Along with making wire frames I made a user scenario video of how one would use this service by text message.
Look and Feel
Here is how my home page is designed. I wanted it to be clean and positive.

Wire frames
I made a series of wire frames for my project.
They can be found here…

Timeline
There are pretty much five weeks left for my project this semester which is not a long time at all. Here is my timeline for myself so I know what needs to be done.
April 1-3 User Testing
April 8-10 User Testing
April 15-17 Start building a final prototype
April 22-24 Continue building and practice presentations
April 29-1 Refine everything and make final presentation
May 6-8 FINAL PRESENTATIONS
May 6-13 Write final paper
User testing is going to be key to my project. Without getting feedback I don’t even know if my project is a success or not. I created an online survey for people to take. I am also asking a group of people to keep a one day journal of the time of day they eat, what they are eating, and what emotion they feel when they are eating. Also, I am asking them to text me when they are having a weak moment. Here is the link to my survey…

Prototype 1
So right now I will begin my first prototype. I am selecting a few people to participate in keeping a journal of what they eat throughout one day and document what kind of mood they are in when they eat. Are they eating because they are truly hungry or are they eating because they are depressed, sad, etc.?
Requirements
After midterm reviews I went back to see what my true requirements for my project are. I need to streamline my idea and eliminate having a new product that someone needs to purchase. Here is a list of things that I am thinking about: 1. Create a support system that people feel comfortable with2. I need to know my exact target audience3. The network has to be a support system that responds right away with support feedback4. The support system has to work through existing technology such as email, text messaging, AIM5. Need to start by setting up a group on facebook or ning and see what kind of feedback I get back6. Eliminate having sensors to read ones emotions The support group can be family members, strangers who deal with the same problems, people who are health experts that can guide with health issues
